Bo the missing Ramsgate parrot found after 3 month adventure

Bo was spotted in a tree and photographed by Janice Jones and is now home

A parrot that went missing in Ramsgate three months ago has been found.

Orange-winged, Amazon Parrot Bo disappeared from the Whitehall Road area of Ramsgate on July 19.

Owner Esme Mackins put out an appeal to find her but Bo remained on the missing list for three months.

The parrot, who mimics noises such as kissing, the microwave, wolf whistle, purrs and screams, was discovered this morning (October 28) in a garden in Winifred Avenue.

Bo was easily identified as she has a missing toenail.

A post to the Missing Dogs and Strays in Thanet facebook page soon tracked down a delighted Esme.

Esme was at work so sent mum Pip to the rescue and Bo was retrieved, although Pip suffered a couple of bites in the process!

Esme told the group: ” I’m so happy. I feel like crying, thank you everyone!”
