Margate properties are without water due to a burst main.
The incident was reported last night but Southern Water says: “Due to the complexity of the repairs, the burst in Millmead Road will take some more time to fix.”
The main is leaking in Millmead Road and surrounding homes are affected.
It it just two weeks since a faulty pump left scores of isle homes without water.
A Southern Water spokesman said: “Our crews have been working all night to repair a burst on a 12 inch water main in Millmead Road, Margate.
“Around 12 properties have been affected and have been provided with bottled water. We understand what an inconvenience events like this are and we apologise to those customers affected. We would like to assure them we are working to restores supplies as quickly and safely as possible and thank them for their patience.”
