Dreamland posters, photos and prints on display for Memories From The Dream Factory

‘Memories From The Dream Factory’ opens at Dreamland this morning (Saturday, October 7).

The display in The Dreamland Trust creative space -the arcade by the amusement park entrance – are all items from the collection saved by the late Bill Evans in 1981 when he was Dreamland’s press officer.

They have been framed by Lovelys Art Gallery and put on display by Nick Evans, Bill’s son, with the help of trust volunteers John Cripps and Brandi Noble and trust development manager Jill Hunt.

Visitors will be able to view original posters, photos and printed items on show for the first time, ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s.

Memories From The Dream Factory will be open for a preview this Saturday 11am-5pm. It is then open on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 and the following weekends in October.

Admission is free.
