A power cut has affected 2039 Ramsgate properties.
An underground electricity cable faulted on UK Power Networks high voltage network, causing a power outage in the town at 11.43pm.
Affected postcodes are CT11 7,CT11 8,CT11 9.
Residents have reported hearing a loud bang before the power went out.

UK Power Networks says it expects electricity to be restored by 2.30am. A message on the company’s website says: “Our engineers are working hard to fix it as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused you.”
Kent Police have also been called out.
