Margate children’s boutique voted into finals of global competition

Lauren Pither's new boutique business is in the finals of a word-wide competition

A Margate mum has been voted into the final round of the 2017 Boutique Awards in the United Kingdom as a contender for Children’s Boutique of the Year.
Lauren Pither, who started Be Belle Boutique in February, was among 4,000 competitors vying for the title.

The awards, hosted by The Boutique Hub, are the only global recognition event for independent boutique retail owners in the fashion industry.

The event celebrates the best boutiques across the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, in the categories of Storefront Boutique of the Year, Online Boutique of the Year, Children’s Boutique of the Year, Mobile Boutique of the Year, and State or Country Overall Boutique of the Year.

Entrants have garnered more than 300,000 votes from shoppers and consumers who love boutique shopping worldwide. The voting closes on August 21.

Despite tough economic conditions industry trends show a strong upswing in the boutique retail market.

The Boutique Hub is opening new boutiques daily and established boutiques are posting some of the strongest sales to date.

Be Belle Boutique offers unique and affordable clothing, catering to babies and children.
