Singer Jess Glynne joined BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, Los Twangueros and festival favourites The Cuban Brothers at Dreamland’s Scenic Stage for a special Sunset Session gig on Saturday.

The Brit-nominated star, who was revealed as the mystery guest, also took a helicopter flight around the isle before the gig.

The event saw 15,000 people make their way through the doors throughout the day and evening.

Isle photographer Roy Foord took these brilliant pictures of the night.

The next Sunset Sessions take place this Friday and Saturday. Bring Your Own Brass (Friday) will be bringing the naughtiest noughties mashups, spine-tingling hip-hop licks and some tasty latin and tropical flavours to the park, fresh from playing at Glastonbury. The fun starts at 6pm.

On the weekend of Jamaican Independence Day, the mighty Trojan Sound System returns to Dreamland on Saturday. A legendary team of selecta and vocalists, they relentlessly tour the globe representing the most seminal Reggae and Ska record label in history.  Trojan Sound’s Daddy Ad will be joined by his full team of vocalists Supa4 Creation, Jah Buck, Chucky Bantan and will feature the legendary Reggae artist, Big Youth.

Other performances on the day will come from local crew Ramrock Hi-fi who will be presenting a special set hosted by UK producer and DJ pioneer Ashley Beedle and Ramrock head honcho Jo Wallace. They’ll be selecting and toasting you through a special History of Black music set, focusing on the evolution of Jamaican music and featuring vocalists Greg Blackman, Mark Professor from Wreck it up Crew and Taz. Real Roots Sound System will be kicking off the celebrations with Roots vocalist Ramon Judah and Jon1st, the former World DMC Champion, will be scratching his way through an exclusive Sound System set.

Music will start from 4pm, with the Sunset Session wristband offer starting at 6pm.
