
Police have closed off a road and three people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Eastern Esplanade, Cliftonville.
A collision involving a police car and another vehicle took place at 7.18pm.

Fire, ambulance and police officers are at the scene. There are also reports that the air ambulance may have been called in although this has not yet been confirmed.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed a police car had been involved in the incident.
He said: “At 7.18pm on Sunday 9 July a two vehicle collision took place in Eastern Esplanade, Margate. The collision involved two cars, one of which was a police car.

“Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called to the scene.
“Three people have been taken to a local hospital with injuries that are, at present, reported to be minor.
“A road closure has been enforced as officers conduct enquiries.”
