Presenters from Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour have been recording in Margate.
Michelle Dewberry, Margate resident Gemma Cairney and Gia Milinovich were on the main sands yesterday (July 6) for a project called Women’s Lab.

The trio each had three days to devise an activity to help women feel better about their body image. The idea was devised by Deborah Coughlin, a Radio 4 contributor and writer for the Guardian and Independent.

She said: “We have been recording a secret pilot for three days in Margate. What an amazing time we’ve had getting to know local people and organisations.
“Margate is fascinating and we can’t wait for everyone to hear the show.”

The pilot is being edited but expected to air during the next fortnight.
And that's a wrap! 👊 🎉 Thanks to sunny Margate☀️ for hosting Team #WomansLab this week for a special WH project 🙌 Details coming SOON!👌 pic.twitter.com/Dgnsc8F38U
