Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate officers investigating a murder in Margate have arrested two men.
A 54-year-old man from Margate was arrested yesterday ( Monday 3 July) and a 35-year-old man from Margate was arrested the today.
They both currently remain in police custody.
The arrests follow the discovery of a man’s body at a private address in Ethelbert Terrace, Cliftonville, earlier in the day. Officers taped off the alleyway and forensic investigators were in the garden and a flat of a property off the alley, which fronts on to Ethelbert Terrace.
The suspects and victim were believed to be known to each other and enquiries into the death continue.
