Emergency services have been called to an incident on Margate beach.
Witnesses report five police cars, three ambulances and an air ambulance at the scene, which was packed with families enjoying the sun.
The call-out was at around 5.00pm.
One teenager was taken from the scene to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with head injuries. Police have confirmed there was a fight involving up to 50 people. Reports of a person being stabbed are untrue.
A police spokesman said: “Kent Police were alerted at 5.05pm to reports of a disturbance on Margate beach involving about 50 young people.

“One teenage boy has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers are investigating the incident.”
There have been no arrests so far.
