Police appeal after thieves steal eight Goldfinches from Margate aviary

Kent Police is appealing for information after eight goldfinches were stolen from an aviary in Margate.

The birds are valued at approximately £700 each and went missing from a property in the Canterbury Road area of Garlinge between 10.45pm and 11pm on Monday( 24 April).

It is believed those responsible got into the aviary by climbing over a metal gate. Both are believed to be white men, with one wearing a dark jacket and the other a light-coloured baseball cap.
