Two motorcyclists taken to hospital in Margate and Ramsgate crashes

Two motorcyclists were taken to hospital in separate road accidents yesterday (April 17).

In Margate Kent Police was called at 12.27pm following a collision involving a car and a motorcyclist on Dane Hill, Margate.

The incident happened at the junction with King Street. Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital. His injuries were not believed to be serious.

In Ramsgate Kent Police was called at 1.30pm  following a collision in Hereson Road, Ramsgate, close to the Tesco Metro.

The incident involved a car and a motorcycle.

Officers and ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
