Young athletes from Wellesley Haddon Dene School in Broadstairs have qualified for the British Schools Modern Biathlon Championships.
Three pupils from Year 4 will be representing the school at the competition which takes place at the University of Bath on March 23-24.
Some 1400 competitors aged from year 3 to year 13, as well as their teachers, were invited to enter the championships following success at one of Pentathlon GB’s approved qualification events.
The youngsters will compete in a 25m swim and a 400m run.
