Thanet woman seriously injured in Pean Hill crash

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on the A290 near Whitstable where a woman from Thanet was seriously injured.

At around 10.15pm yesterday (November 7), a collision involving a bus and a black VW Polo happened on the A290 Pean Hill between Blean and Whitstable.

Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the woman from Thanet  was treated for injuries described as serious and a man from the Herne Bay area was treated for injuries described as minor.

The woman was taken to a London hospital and the man went to a local hospital for further medical attention .

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles immediately before or during the collision, or who have dashcam footage to get in contact.
