Emergency services called to injured man in Ramsgate

A man has been taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford with a head injury after a fall in Ramsgate yesterday (March 14).

Police and ambulance were called to Broad Street just after 7pm yesterday (March 14) to a man lying in the street. The initial report was that the man may have been assaulted but this turned out not to be the case.

A South East Coast Ambulance service spokesman said: “SECAmb was called shortly after 7pm to Broad Street, Ramsgate, yesterday (14 March) .

“A man was assessed and treated at the scene for injuries including a head injury before being taken to William Harvey Hospital.”

The man is now recovering.
