A film is being shot in Ramsgate.
Some eight film production vehicles from AFD have set up base in the Marina Road car park and are expected to be on the isle for the next week.
A publicist for the movie confirmed the shoot but said they had to remain tight-lipped about the project until filming is complete.
The crew and actors are said to be keeping a ‘low profile’ but thanked residents and businesses for their patience.
She added: “It’s obviously peak holiday season, the local council and businesses are all being incredibly supportive as we work and the public are always very understanding too.
“To help everyone with managing logistics and limiting disruptions as much as possible we can’t give out locations in advance.”
The publicist has worked on high profile productions including Man From UNCLE with director Guy Ritchie and Hobbit: Battle Of Five Armies for Warner Bros.

She is also involved with the UK shoot of upcoming Nick Hornby adaptation Juliet, Naked.
Filming for this was underway just over a week ago. The production stars Rose Byrne, Ethan Hawke and Chris O’Dowd as well as Azhy Robertson (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Lily Brazier (People Just Do Nothing), Ayoola Smart (Vera) and stand-up comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
The director is Jesse Peretz and filming is taking place in London and the south-east coast of the UK now.
