Burglars have targeted a Ramsgate business for the sixth time.
Pure Escapism Hair and Beauty, in the High Street, was broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning. The culprits were caught on CCTV footage which has now been circulated on social media.
This time around the pair stole cash from the stores Pringle machine, an iPad, GHD straighteners and GHD hairdryers as well as the staff’s tip money box.
A store spokesman said: “They broke in via fire escape window. It’s no bigger than A4 bit of paper so we didn’t realise an adult would even get through that.
“They completely ransacked the office looking for money. The total damage and goods stolen was about £2,000. It’s the sixth time they have done it and we are getting so fed up with it. It’s so frustrating.”
Police appeal
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police officers investigating a burglary in Ramsgate are appealing for witnesses.
“Electrical items, hairdressing equipment and cash have been reported stolen from Pure Escapism Hair and Beauty on the High Street. It is believed the incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday 9 July between 1am and 3am.
“Officers currently investigating the burglary would like anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has more information to call Kent Police as soon as possible.”
