Broadstairs restaurant Bar Ingo has scooped a spot in the prestigious OpenTable 2025 Top 100 list.
The accolade celebrates the platform’s Top 100 restaurants in the UK this year, taking into account diner reviews, ratings, reservation demand and 5-star reviews.
Since opening the doors in 2024, chef Tomas Eriksson has quickly become a familiar favourite in Thanet with visitors complimenting the menu, inspired by authentic food from Spain’s Basque region and interesting wine pairings.
It is also the dedicated team that keeps diners coming back to Bar Ingo. Tomas, alongside his son Rio, oversee the kitchen with Grace Wison from Ramsgate running the front of house.

Tomas said:” I’m thrilled to be one of OpenTable’s Top 100 restaurants, it came as a huge surprise. And the fact that it’s based on real people’s experiences with us means so much, too.
“Rio, Grace and I have put everything we’ve got into making Bar Ingo what it is today and the fact that our visitors have left happy, makes it all worth it.
“We’ve been on quite a journey this year, but it’s just the start. We have lots planned for next year, which I can’t wait to tell people about, but this award proves that great food and great service really is the perfect pairing.”
Bar Ingo’s food and wine menus change regularly to ensure the best seasonal produce and wine pairings are available, though some dishes stay put by popular demand.
Bar Ingo is open seven days a week at 9 York Street, Broadstairs.
