Three men suffered stab wounds during an altercation in Margate yesterday (April 28).
Police sealed off the top end of Margate High Street, by the Margate Family Hub (former Six Bells), following the incident with a forensics team also at the scene at the scene at flats opposite Eclipse hair salon.
Residents in the block were asked to stay inside while investigations were carried out. Officers remain at the site today.
Three men were injured and three arrests were also made. The men’s injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called shortly before 4pm on Monday 28 April to a report of a disturbance involving a small group of people in Margate High Street, where it is alleged three men were assaulted.
“Officers attended along with paramedics and three men were taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries consistent with stab wounds.
“Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.”
