St Laurence CE Junior Academy in Ramsgate held its festive bazaar this week and it was a resounding success.
The event brought joy, excitement and plenty of Christmas cheer to the school community, with a fantastic range of activities and stalls for pupils to enjoy.
The bazaar, which featured fun-filled attractions such as Snowball Run, Santa’s Bauble Challenge, Lucky Dip, Poke a Tree, and the ever-popular sweet tombola, raised an impressive £250. These funds will go towards buying new resources and outside equipment, benefitting all pupils in the school.
As always, there was a friendly competition to see which stall could raise the most money and this year’s winners were Ms Blades and Mrs Kirk with their Snowball Bowling stall. Their efforts narrowly edged out Mr Spencer’s Festive Marble Run, which came a close second.
Head teacher Mrs Graham said: “Thank you to all the pupils and staff for their hard work and enthusiasm. It’s always wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate, have fun, and raise money for such important causes. The funds raised will make a big difference to the school.”
