Year 3 children at St. Joseph’s Primary School enjoyed a very festive morning when they were joined by the Broadstairs Town Shed for a Christmas art workshop.
The Broadstairs Town Shed is a volunteer led initiative providing a place for older people to get together and participate in meaningful and rewarding DIY/woodwork and metalwork-based activities.
Led by members of the Town Shed, children showed great creativity when using different coloured dyes to decorate tiles. They also got to make their very own reindeer out of wood, pipe cleaners, bows and paint.
Year 3 teacher Mrs Faye Hindley was delighted with how the children all engaged in the fun activities and thanked the Broadstairs Town Shed for giving up their time to run a fantastic Christmas art workshop. All the children had a brilliant time!
