Emergency services attend crash in Broadstairs

Emergency services have attended a two car crash in Broadstairs today (September 25).

Two fire engines. Police and paramedics were called to the incident at the roundabout at Dane Court Road and Westwood Road at just after 11am.

One man was taken to hospital.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 11.04am to a report of a collision involving two cars in Broadstairs, at the roundabout where Broadstairs Road meets Westwood Road, Dane Court Road and Vicarage Street.

“Officers attended along with SECAmb and a man was taken to hospital after injuries were reported. The road was clear at around 12.30pm.”

A Kent Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson added: “Two fire engines attended and assisted Kent Police and SECAmb.”

Fire crews finished at the scene at 12.15pm.

A SECAmb spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called shortly after 11am to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the Broadstairs Road. Crews assessed and treated one male patient at the scene before taking him to the QEQM hospital in Margate for further medical care.”
