Emergency services attend welfare concern incident in Ramsgate

Police, fire and ambulance staff attended a  welfare concern report in Ramsgate last night (June 18).

Emergency services were called to Wellington Crescent at 8.49pm to a report of a person on a roof.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 8.49pm on Tuesday 18 June following concern for a person’s welfare in Wellington Crescent, Ramsgate.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the road was closed while crews responded to the incident.

“The person was handed into the care of medical professionals and the road reopened at around 10pm.”
