A motorcyclist has been airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London after crashing in Ramsgate.
Emergency services were called to Dumpton Park Drive at 10.40pm yesterday (May 1). The man, in his 30s, had collided with a stationary vehicle.
It is understood he has suffered life-changing injuries.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 10.40pm on Friday 1 May to a report of a motorcycle colliding with a stationary vehicle in Dumpton Park Drive, Ramsgate.
“Officers attended the scene alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service where the driver – a man in his 30s – was airlifted to a London hospital.
“Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances.”

Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.

Why is the NHS depending on a registered charity, the Air Ambulance? As a charity its not publicly accounatable, although its also a registered company, which is also not publically accountable.
