A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision in Westgate yesterday (April 19).
Kent Police and paramedics were called at 12.18pm to a crash involving a car and a motorcyclist in St Mildreds Road. The road was closed while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.”
A South East Coast Ambulance service spokesperson said: “South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) was called at approximately 12.26pm on Sunday, following reports of a traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike by the junction of St Mildred’s Road in Westgate-on-Sea.
“The motorcyclist was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate for further medical treatment.”
