Students, parents and staff at Cross Keys Learning in St Peter’s have raised £271.18 for Children in Need.
Cakes were sold and donations made and students were challenged in their form groups to complete 25 acts of kindness. From writing heartfelt letters to those who’ve supported them, to lending a helping hand to classmates, and even simple gestures like smiling or holding doors open, the students all completed the challenge and showed the power of kindness.
A school spokesperson said: “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and enthusiasm of our students, parents, carers, and staff, who donated delicious cakes and made kind donations.
“We would also like to thank the local businesses along Dane Valley Road, St Peter’s, who welcomed our students so warmly and contributed generously, and also to Sharpak in Aylesham for purchasing cakes to support the cause.”
