Performance, workshops, games, drinks, and more will be on offer as arts studio organisation Bon Volks celebrates its 10th birthday.
The non-profit, which provides workspace, workshops and environmental schemes such as its Swifts guardian projects, will also hold a silent auction as part of the event to mark a decade in Margate.
People are invited to explore the Park Lane studios and meet artists and get involved in a packed day of activities on Saturday, September 27.
The Silent Auction will raise funds for the future of Bon Volks. The auction features artworks and creative services donated by members, past residents and friends who share the ethos of community, care and sustainability.
All works will be on display during the event, with bidding open throughout the day and closing that evening.

From 11am – Open studios + badge making (all day)

11am– Animation demo with Dylan White
An intro to the world of animation – perfect for youngsters and beginners curious about how drawings come to life.
12 noon – Boomwhacker workshop with Tom Adams (children’s music)
Armed with 30 tuned pipes, Tom leads a fun, interactive session where kids (and adults!) can play tunes together.
2pm – Nature journaling with Christie Drozdowski
A hands-on journaling workshop to capture the world around you. Starts at Bon Volks, then off to Dane Park to put ideas into action.
4pm – Raffle draw #1
6pm – Boomwhacker workshop (all ages music fun)
Another chance to join Tom Adams in making music with the famous Boomwhackers!
7pm – Between Two Seas (indie folk duo)
Charming vocals, guitar and ukulele – music to stir the soul.
7:30pm – Claire Holmes (singer-songwriter)
Jazz-inflected vocals and nylon guitar, blending folk, soul and meditative sound worlds.
8pm – Kit Proudfoot (poetry & music)
Kit Proudfoot is a comedian, writer and musician. Expect wit, rhythm and lyrical brilliance.
8:30pm – Tom Adams: All the hits and none of the bits
Tom Adams plays all of his musical hits from over 15 years of writing theatre and comedy shows. ‘A totally unique comedy experience’ – Time Out London
9pm – Silent auction closes + final raffle draw
Games for all ages will take place throughout the event. Bar open all day.
