Resident were evacuated from flats at Victoria Parade, Broadstairs due to a suspected kitchen fire today (September 21).
Three fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene at 4.39pm and the road was cordoned off while firefighters brought flames under control.
Three fire engines and a height vehicle were in attendance and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.
Residents were evacuated safely and there were no reported injuries. People were allowed back in the area at 8pm.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
