A stop check of a vehicle being driven dangerously in Ramsgate has resulted in class A drugs and money being seized.
On Saturday 13 September, officers on patrol in Clements Road spotted a grey Vauxhall Corsa being driven erratically. Enquiries established the vehicle was also linked to drug supply.
Officers requested the vehicle to stop in Avenue Road and, on searching the driver, drugs believed to be cocaine were found.
Following a search of the home address more than £2,000 in cash was found in drawers and large bags of class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, were found on a cabinet in the bedroom, along with scales and mobile phones.
A 47 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, possession of a class A drug and drug driving.
She has since been bailed while enquiries continue.

Well done the Police. We do need to see more Police on the beat in the town centres though.
