Police are searching for the occupants of a car that was involved in a crash in Ramsgate yesterday (May 15).
A BMW was dumped in West Dumpton Lane with extensive damage to the front, passenger side, both airbags blown and a smashed driver’s side window.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision at 7.23pm on Thursday 15 May.
“Officers attended West Dumpton Lane in Ramsgate, where the vehicle was found unoccupied and it was recovered.
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate the occupants of the vehicle.”
Strange. I find that young BMW and Mercedes drivers tend to be amongst the most careful, considerate and skilful of motorists in Thanet.

How many of these hit & runs are there in Thanet now? Seems to be at least one per day the last year or so.
