Police have sealed off the top end of Margate High Street, by the Margate Family Hub (former Six Bells), following a serious incident today (April 28).
Officers are currently at the scene at flats opposite Eclipse hair salon and residents in the block were asked to stay inside while a forensics team carried out their work.
Door to door enquiries have also taken place.
It is understood a violent altercation took place in the block at around 4.30pm with a witness saying “there was a lot of blood.”
Reports of a stabbing are yet to be confirmed.
