Police are appealing for witnesses after several vehicles in Ramsgate were damaged in Ramsgate.
Between 1am and 2am on Wednesday 26 February, the paintwork of a number of vehicles in La Belle Alliance Square was scratched.
The suspect is described as a teenage boy, wearing a black beanie hat, a black coat, jogging bottoms and trainers.

I couldn’t agree more. I had my vehicle damage whilst directly below a council CCTV camera. The group who did it could be seen clearly on the footage as provided by TDC to the Police, but as none of them had a record (yet) they apparantly couldn’t be identified. I asked for a copy of the photos and o would pay a private investigator to identify them and take out a private prosecution out the Police were too busy with one crime . As you will have guessed I wasn’t allowed the footage as it would breach GDPR, so people connoting a crime on camera are protected and not the victims.
The parking in Belle Alliance Sq is a disgrace. Permanent illegal parking on the pavements, on the grass verges and blocking wheelchair users.
From the description of him it should be easy to narrow it down to what….3,000 or 4,000 teenagers.
Over the years the police have called at our address 4 times to ask about if our CCTV cameras have recorded a vehicle or person that the police are investigating. On all 4 occasions the CCTV has led to individuals being arrested and charged, one man was jailed for 6 years for his crimes.
So get CCTV.
Was it something more serious than car damage though?
