Ramsgate cocktail bar Seabird has been included in the newly published 2025 edition of The Good Food Guide.
The guide describes Seabird as a ‘Local Gem’, with “skilfully rendered iterations of Med-style comfort food”. The review describes Seabird as offering “something for everyone”, highlighting dishes such as “pumpkin and sage ravioli with burnt butter to cod brandade or velvety-rich ox cheeks, plus steaks from the outdoor grill.”
The guide also gives merit to Seabird’s “superior sounds, guest DJs and a rotating cast of dangerously drinkable libations.”
Seabird is in Addington Street, alongside an often-changing collection of independent galleries, homeware stores, gift shops, art studios and beautiful architecture.
The venue was opened in summer 2024 by Ramsgate residents and former London based hospitality veterans Damian Williams and Stuart Langley.
Stuart said: “We’re thrilled for Seabird and Ramsgate to be included in The Good Food Guide.
“When we opened Seabird we wanted it to be a place where everyone was welcome and would find something they could enjoy; best quality food and drink served in a relaxed and informal way.”
Seabird is open all-day, from Thursday to Sunday, for coffee, pastries, lunch and dinner, an ever-evolving list of craft cocktails, low intervention wines, locally brewed draught and bottled beers and ciders.
From February 19 it will be open Wednesday to Sunday and hours are again extended in the summer when Seabird will reopen its courtyard garden.
