A woman taken to hospital following “an unexplained medical incident” in Westbrook has sadly died.
Emergency services were called to a property in Crescent Road on November 21. Police, paramedics and fire crews attended and the woman was taken to hospital.
Two men were arrested but have since been released without charge.
Kent Police say that following enquiries, the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious and the men have been released without charge.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police carried out enquiries following an unexplained medical incident at a property in Crescent Road, Margate on Thursday 21 November.
“South East Coast Ambulance Service had taken a woman to hospital, where she later died.
“Following enquiries, police are not treating her death as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
“Two men who were arrested following the incident have been released without charge.”
