A man has been charged in connection with drug dealing after officers recovered a large quantity of wraps of suspected class A substance in Cliftonville.
An investigation by Kent Police led to an arrest being made after officers conducted a warrant at a property in Clarendon Road on Monday 4 November.
Following a search, several wraps were seized – which were believed to contain heroin – along with a suspected drug line phone.
Later that day Troy Campbell, 36, was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and being concerned in the supply of a class A substance, heroin.
Mr Campbell appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court at an initial hearing on Tuesday 5 November and is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 9 December.
