Odyssey heading to The Pavilion in Broadstairs

A special live performance by the legendary Odyssey

Odyssey will be bringing disco hits to The Pavilion in Broadstairs on  August 25.

The event features an all-star lineup of DJs from the Margate Soul Festival, including Selwyn, Micky B, Vicky Vibes and Terry Brown plus a special live performance by the legendary Odyssey.

Odyssey is a trio originally from New York, best known for  disco hits including “Native New Yorker” (1977), “Use It Up and Wear It Out” (1980), and “Going Back to My Roots” (1981). Now based in the UK, the band is led and fronted by Steven Collazo.

Steven Collazo’s mother, Lillian Lopez, was one of the original Odyssey members. He was a backing vocalist and musical director with Odyssey in their early ’80s heyday and is now frontman.

The Pavilion will be transformed into a dance arena and DJs, renowned for their impeccable selection and ability to keep the dance floor moving, will be spinning the best in soul, funk, and dance classics.

Selwyn, Micky B, Vicky Vibes, and Terry Brown have each made their mark at the Margate Soul Festival, and now they are bringing their talent and energy to Broadstairs for one night only.

Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £22.50 plus booking fee.
