Three people have been arrested by detectives investigating a serious assault in Ramsgate.
At 1.57am today (May 16), Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an injured man at an address in Camden Square, Ramsgate.
Officers attended the property where the man, who is in his 40s, was treated for stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 44-year-old man and two 37-year-old women, who are all from Ramsgate, have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation.
Enquiries into the incident are continuing and a cordon which was previously in place at Boundary Park as part of the investigation has now been lifted.

yes i believe it is , they try to dress it up with all this culture , arts and other nonsense , and our ( filthy ) beaches , but they never tell the truth about the heavy drug use and supply , the violence on the streets , probably linked to the drug addicts and suppliers. you cant polish a turd !
I doubt if anybody on these comment threads has ever said that Ramsgate is perfectly safe for 24 hours a day.
As a frequent user of the beach and sea here, I know that the beach is not filthy. It is usually not very messy at all. I walk down to the town centre and back almost every day and it feels safe. Violence on the streets is rare during the day. I wouldn’t know about late at night, as I am never anywhere near the harbour late at night.

Ms Rees is quite correct. Last Saturday, for example, the town was buzzing, the sea front was busy with brass bands playing, the cafes doing a roaring trade, and loads of people enjoying the beach.
There were no stabbings. There was no dope. Just townsfolk and visitors enjoying themselves.
Like Ms Rees, I too walk into town most days. I have never, ever encounter any crime other than cars driving in the pedestrian zone.
