Police cordon at Boundary Park as part of stabbing investigation

Police have cordoned off Boundary Park in Ramsgate in connection with a stabbing in the early hours of this morning (May 16).

Officers were called in at 1.57am by South East Coast Ambulance Service who attended a man in Camden Square who had suffered stab wounds.

The man, in his 40s, has been taken to hospital and is in a serious condition.

A man and woman have been arrested and are in custody. Police have put the cordon at the park while enquiries are carried out.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “At 1.57am on Thursday 16 May, Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an injured man at an address in Camden Square, Ramsgate.

“Officers attended the property where the victim, who is in his 40s, was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

“A local man and woman were arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody.

“An investigation is underway and a cordon is currently in place at Boundary Park while enquiries continue.”
