Thanet Pro Wrestling, based in Margate, is continuing to grow since its launch in 2022 and brings its latest showcase to Margate this June.

Founders and co-owners Jamie Hill, Christopher Care, and Stewart Pears use a blend of athleticism, entertainment, and local talent to take their wrestling shows on the road as well as training up and coming talent at their base in Westwood Business Park.

Under the mentorship of head coaches like Jordan Breaks, Revolution Pro Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion, and TK Cooper, one half of the dynamic Sunshine Machine duo, TPW is cultivating a reputation for excellence.

One milestone in TPW’s journey was the introduction of the TPW Championship in February. The inaugural champion, “The Bruiser” Samuel Jacobs, has gained notoriety as a villainous figure, drawing boos from the fans with his ruthless tactics inside the ring.

TPW also host regular academy showcases, providing a platform for up-and-coming talent from their training school to shine. The showcases display the skills of emerging wrestlers and also highlight TPW’s commitment to fostering the next generation of wrestling stars.

The TPW Academy caters to aspiring wrestlers aged 17 and above, offering a structured program to develop their skills and prepare them for the ring. There is also a children’s club on Sunday mornings, introducing the younger generation to the world of wrestling in a safe and fun environment.

TPW recently showcased their skills at the Merton Vintage Fair, where they held a successful series of high-energy matches.

The excitement continues with TPW’s next main show scheduled for June 9th at  Margate’s St. John’s Community Centre in Victoria Road.

The show opens at 3pm and will feature the debut of the King Of Summer Tournament were competitors battle for glory but also for the ultimate prize—a future shot at the TPW Heavyweight Championship.

Heavyweight Champion, The Bruiser, will also be stepping into the ring to defend his hard-earned title for the first time against ‘Meathead.’

  1. If thee Wrestler were any good why did they not compete in the Olympic free style or greaco-roman style Trials.

Folkestone and Deal both havea former Olympic Gold Medallists and a World champion at 87kiloresident there, the latter will soon start a real wrestling club/school…if he turned up at Margate to challenge, would that be accepted ?

    In early 2025.
