Emergency services called in following discovery of man’s body near Ramsgate Port

Police and ambulance were called to Ramsgate’s Westcliff area this morning (May 4) due to the discovery of a man’s body.

Emergency services attended the area near to the port after receiving the call at 5.45am.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at around 5.45am following the discovery of a man’s body near Royal Harbour Approach, Ramsgate.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the coroner.

“The man’s next of kin have been notified.”
