Margate FC has announced it has ‘parted ways’ with manager Mark Stimson following the club’s relegation from the Isthmian Premier Division.

The relegation was sealed by the team’s 5-3 loss to Billericay Town at the New Lodge stadium

The club’s Board say: “Margate Football Club can confirm that following relegation from the Isthmian Premier Division, it will be opting to part ways with manager, Mark Stimson.

“The search for a new manager will start immediately, as we aim to bounce straight back up, and we will update supporters with more information when possible.

“The club wish Mark all the best in the future.”

Stimson had been at the helm since last December, replacing Reece Prestedge. Margate finished the season 19th in the table.
