An equestrian centre with stables, barn, tack room, three paddocks and a dilapidated mobile home situated on the outskirts of Minster is to go under the hammer at auction.

The plot on the south of Watchester Lane is among 149 lots listed for sale by Clive Emson, the land and property auctioneers, ahead of its next sale.

It is situated in a rural location with countryside views and has a freehold guide price of £120,000-plus.

Jon Rimmer, auction appraiser, said: “Clearly this would be of interest to those looking for an equestrian centre.

“It has everything necessary to keep and work horses and is situated in an excellent location, with a railway on one side and a dyke on the other.

“The land is situated on the outskirts of Minster with uninterrupted views across open farmland.

“It is one of the larger Thanet villages and has an Abbey, with a monastery on the site since 670 AD.

“The Abbey is home to Benedictine nuns.”
