Rob Waller, founder and programmer of the Margate Summer Series, said: “We’ve seen a huge demand for summer music events in Margate and it is very exciting to create two new events as part of the Margate Summer Series.

“We wanted to create an event  that celebrates artists who are pushing the boundaries of genres, teaming up with Fat Freddy’s Drop we’ve created “Down By The Sea”, to bring you a day of pioneering sounds across reggae, hip-hop and jazz.

“Our hope is that “Love Unlimited” really does bring the love for the final days of summer. An event intended to celebrate inclusiveness; it will balance legends against some of the best DJs in the game. It will be an incredible culmination of disco artists, including the phenomenal Sister Sledge and Shalamar – plus DJs from Crazy P, Hot Chip, and the incredible Dimitri from Paris – this will be a truly great way to end this series and the Summer.”
