One lane of the London-bound A299 carriageway remains closed following a collision this afternoon (February 23).
Kent Police was called at 1.09pm to reports of a collision involving two cars on the London-bound carriageway of A299 near to Herne Bay.
Officers are currently at the scene with Southeast Coast Ambulance Service and the driver of one of the cars has sustained serious injuries not deemed to be life threatening.
One lane of the carriageway remains closed whilst recovery of the vehicles is arranged.
