Crews attended derelict caravan fire by Joss Bay

Fire crews have attended a derelict caravan ablaze  off Joss Bay today (February 22).

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of the derelict caravan alight in North Foreland Hill at 1pm.

Two fire engines attended, and crews used a hose reel jet and drag rakes to extinguish the flames and stop the fire from spreading.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is unknown.

Crews finished at the scene at 1.20pm.
