Till and £600 stolen during break-in at Ramsgate FC Corner Flag Bar

Police are investigating a break-in at Ramsgate Football Club’s Corner Flag Bar in the early hours of this morning (January 22).

Three people were caught on CCTV inside the property at 2am. The till with around £600 takings was stolen and an attempt was made to disable the cameras.

A description of the culprits has been issued by the club:

One white male, 5ft 9/10in approx. Slim build, wearing a two tone dark coloured hooded jumper with a small white emblem on the chest. Light coloured tracksuit bottoms, light C T-Shirt, dark trainers. They were also wearing a face covering and light gloves.

A second white male, 5ft 9/11in, stocky/rotund, wearing a light rain jacket with the hood up, light hooded jumper, dark tracksuit bottoms, dark and light trainers, face covering.

One male, race couldn’t be ascertained, wearing a light jacket, light tracksuit bottoms, dark trainers, light backpack, face covering. The club says a full description of this male wasn’t available as they stayed outside of the bar and wasn’t seen inside where the images were clearer. In the footage this male appears to have dreadlocked hair.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating a burglary at a business premises in Prices Avenue, Ramsgate.

“It is reported that about 2am on Monday 22 January, unknown suspects entered the building and stole money to the value of about £600.

“Enquiries are ongoing, including reviewing CCTV footage.”
