Some 108 people gathered at the Western Undercliff beach in Ramsgate today (December 30) for the annual winter dip event.
Organised by the Western Undercliff Regeneration Group, the event continues to grow every year.
Brave swimmers were invited to enjoy free chilli at the Hotel De Ville in Grange Road afterwards.
Participants each were awarded a small trophy to mark their efforts.
Maxine Morgan, from the Western Undercliff Regeneration Group, said: “It was amazing to see the coastguards there today, covering as many winter dips as they can.
“Thank you to everyone taking part, there were many new faces as well as lots of old ones, and to Simon and team at the Hotel de Ville.”
