Ramsgate Road at the bridge by Watling Tyres is closed today (November 11) for railway works to be carried out.
The A254 Ramsgate Road is closed at the railway bridge until 2am tomorrow.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing railway works to be carried out. The works are being undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via A254 Queens Avenue, A255 Grosvenor Gardens, A255 High Street, A255 St Peters Road and B2052 College Road.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via B2052 College Road and A255 St Peters Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
