Minster Church of England Primary School has celebrated all things ‘play’ with a fantastic afternoon outdoors.
Every child was given the opportunity to be outside and choose how they would like to play, giving them the chance to explore new areas and equipment and just have fun!
It was also the perfect afternoon to open the new sandpit which the year 6 children and staff members have worked hard to create.
School business manager Wendy Vinson said: “All staff joined in and it was such a positive experience to have the whole school together with the children taking the lead in their chosen activities.
“We witnessed den building, mud cooking, cricket challenges, hunting for buried treasure, group reading, race car driving, dance-offs, waterfall making and lots of inspiring role play.”
