Margate Summer Series first wave of shows for 2024 has been announced.
From May to September 2024, the series returns to take Dreamland.
Following the successful launch in 2022, Margate Summer Series has already become a staple in the summer festival calendar, expanding from just three summer shows to 21 in only two years, with the 2024 series looking to be the biggest and best yet.
The first group of artists unveiled for the Margate Summer Series include singer-songwriter, Jack Savoretti (Friday 5th July), with his trademark folk and indie sounds, smooth vocals and acoustic guitar-laden tracks.
JLS (Saturday 6th July), who skyrocketed to pop stardom after The X Factor in 2008, with singles including ‘Everybody In Love’, ‘One Shot’ and ‘Beat Again’, along with tracks from the band’s upcoming album, JLS 2.0.
Margate will be basking in disco fever when Nile Rodgers & CHIC (Saturday 13th July), take to the stage. Their funk and soul energy, teamed with a setlist of countless hits, will make for the ultimate disco-singalong. They will be supported by disco-queen, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and DJ collective Horse Meat Disco.
Also joining the Margate Summer Series is Jess Glynne (Friday 26th July), with chart-topping hits such as ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘Hold My Hand’ and ‘Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself’, as well as new tracks from her third album.
Craig David (Friday 2nd August) will be returning to his DJ roots and bringing his TS5 party back to Margate, expect massive old skool anthems, R&B, Swingbeat, Garage and Bashment, plus chart-topping House hits.
Finally, on their 20th anniversary tour, Busted (Friday 23rd August) will return with their irrepressible pop-punk energy with special guests (TBA) and hits: ‘What I Go To School For’, ‘Year 3000’ and ‘Air Hostess’ – plus many, many more.

Margate is a very special town and Dreamland is the most brilliant setting for artists and revellers alike. With a capacity of up to 7,500, it has an intimate feel in comparison to a typical arena show for many of these artists.
